Week 3 Results: Two Songs, Same Title

Well, we all saw the potential for a huge Ryan win this week and as we feared, expected & dreaded, he delivered with a huge 33 points for White Reaper’s Pills & a classic early 70s punk Lurker’s song of the same title. Indeed, it may alreay be a race for silver this season after just three weeks.

Other notable moves included a shocking fall by Jason with two songs entitled Superman. The league judged both entries harshly and had some of us scratching our heads as to what one of the shrwedest players was up to. Maybe he was just having fun and enjoying the freedom that many of us feel when first place is out of reach.

But will Nate & Duncan be able to have fun? Perhaps the OPML’s most notable pair of music adveraries find themselves in a virtual tie for 2nd place with Mike & Dan just a handful of votes away. It’s hard to imagine anyone in this pack will want to relax in a league where getting second place almost feels as good as first.
