“The League Will Judge”
22 songs, 22 votes, 11 weeks, 11 competitors. The Oak Park Music League is a group of super music interested friends who create playlists based on a weekly theme.
Each competitor submits two songs each week.
Submissions are anonymous.
Each competitor decides which songs are worthy or not and distributes their 22 votes accordingly.
No one votes for their own song.
Only one reigns supreme at the end of the season.
Now, after several hard fought competitions and in response to overwhelming demand, Duncan, Mike & Rich share the world of Music League in the OP Music League Podcast. In each episode we discuss the playlists and results of each weekly contest. Share in all the intricate strategies, the hubris, the highs and the heartbreaks of what it is like to compete in the toughest Music League on Earth.
Please subscribe to our podcast and playlists. We guarantee that the OP Music League - referred to as the “the most epic competition of our time” - has lived up to its reputation.

Duncan
HOST
Duncan’s goals for music league include upsetting Mike and beating Rich. He delights in music league chaos. In contrast, his perfect music league would consist of nothing but Midwest Emo playlists.

Mike
HOST
Mike used to play in a band and was a blues radio DJ in college, but it doesn’t help him succeed in this epic competition. His vinyl collection is so awesome that he can usually play something from his archives each week.

Rich
HOST
Rich has the best taste of anyone in the OP Music League, but for some reason he can’t win. That said, at the end of each 11 week competition, his 22 songs will be better than yours.
